On November 23-24, Eng. Manal Shihab, Senior Software Engineer at the TRA, attended virtually the Lebanese Internet Governance Forum LIGF 2021 under the title "Digital Transformation for Resilience". This forum is a national initiative aiming at initiating the debate on Internet governance issues in Lebanon among the various stakeholders representing the public and private sectors, academia and civil and technical society.

Organized by the Lebanese Multistakeholder Advisory Group (LMAG), the forum tackled crucial topics evolving around access and inclusion, security and trust, digital rights and freedom and digital transformation.

“Despite the crisis that Lebanon is facing, and the way it has affected the general spirit of the forum where participants explained the challenges they are facing on a daily basis to sustain the major sectors, LIGF stands like the light at the end of the tunnel in these difficult times to remind every Lebanese that we have to work collaboratively in order to be able to rise again and succeed”, Eng. Manal Shihab stated as the forum reached its closure.
