The Consumer Affairs Draft Regulation was issued for public consultation in June 2007 with a deadline to consult by August 2007. After having thoroughly taken in consideration stakeholders’ feedback and created a consumer complaints procedure, TRA Board Members approved the Consumer Affairs Draft Regulation on June 19th, 2009. This Draft Regulation was submitted to the Minister of Telecommunications for submittal to the State Council for opinion.

This Draft Regulation will guarantee consumers’ rights protection towards their telecommunications Service Provider.
