The opening of the financial proposals for the fifth part of the "Telecommunications Regulatory Capacity Building" project funded by a grant from the World Bank and titled "Supervision of Implementation of On-line Transition of TRA" project took place at the TRA premises on May 10th, 2013 at 9:30am.

Besides the TRA, the meeting was attended by representatives from the 2 firms that have passed the TRA’s technical evaluation: Ever East Med - Lebanon and Netways S.A.R.L. - Lebanon. After combining the technical and financial scores, Netways S.A.R.L. - Lebanon was the winning bidder with the highest score.

Following further negotiations, the TRA represented by its Acting Chairman and CEO Dr. Imad Y. Hoballah and Netways S.A.R.L. - Lebanon, represented by Mr. Patrick Khalil, entered into a contract valued at $90,720 on June 27, 2013.
