Prof. Adnan Al Sayed Hussein, President of the Lebanese University (UL), and
Dr. Imad Hoballah, TRA Acting Chairman and CEO, signed on Thursday July 26, 2012, a
Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the UL Headquarters, in the presence of a number of UL Deans and Senior Academics, and Experts from the Authority and the University.
This agreement aims at strengthening the cooperation between the two institutions through the exchange of information, expertise, knowledge, activities, research, and events. The MoU covers various areas where the TRA shall be providing assistance to UL students in the areas of research and project topics, presentations and updates, R&D activities, workshops and training activities.
Prof. Adnan Al Sayed Hussein highlighted the importance of this agreement that provides the UL students with ICT training and support on their research projects and activities. This MoU will also enable the exchange of non-confidential information and expertise between the University and the Authority.
Dr. Hoballah expressed his satisfaction to sign this agreement between the TRA and the prestigious Lebanese University, in an effort to serve the Lebanese public, consumer, and economy. These efforts will for sure open the doors for a wide cooperation between the two parties.
This MoU is one in a series of other cooperation agreements signed between the Authority and other institutions in the framework of the TRA efforts to build bridges and exchange knowledge and expertise.
